Evangelical Tourism: Billy Graham Library
2005: In recent years, Evangelical Christian tourism in the United States has become an increasing trend. With a large base of Americans seeking to take their families on Christ-centered vacations, this past year has seen three attractions become major destinations for Evangelical Christian tourists across the country.
The Creation Museum in Kentucky has stirred up national controversy and attracted thousands of visitors in its first year of business. Trinity Broadcasting Network recently purchased The Holy Land Experience in Florida, and after pouring money into renovations and advertising, it has brought in record numbers of visitors. In North Carolina, thousands more have traveled to the Billy Graham Library, which also opened its doors this year.
